Biography
Nathan D’Cunha is an Associate Professor at the University of Canberra (UC) and an ACT Health Research and Innovation Fellow. His research focuses on non-pharmacological interventions for people with dementia. His PhD investigated the effects of the National Gallery Art and Dementia program, and its effects on stress responses. Nathan is currently researching multicomponent post-diagnostic support for people with dementia and their care partners and is involved in several projects, including allied health in residential care, small-scale dementia care, and nutrition and healthy ageing. Previously, Nathan worked in residential aged care and pathology collection and currently teaches in the Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics at UC.
