Australian Dementia Research Forum 2023 (ADRF2023)

The ADRF 2023 Organising Committee is delighted to recognise the efforts of Australian researchers in dementia with a new Lifetime Achievement Award.

The ADNeT Lifetime Achievement Award in Dementia Research will acknowledge an Australian investigator whose research has made a significant contribution to our understanding of dementia diagnosis, treatment, prevention and care.  This prestigious award will be presented at the Australian Dementia Research Forum in May 2023.

For the second year running, the ADRF will present a number of prizes and awards, including Best Oral Presentation for each abstract theme.

The Mr Baillieu Myer AC Award will go to the best poster for innovative contribution to Alzheimer’s research.

For the first time this year, the ADRF will have a Continuing Education program.  Starting on Day 1 of the Forum, the Continuing Education sessions can be added to continuing professional development points.  These sessions will cover topics such as interpreting FDG PET, how to incorporate brain health checks in general practice, and post-diagnostic cognitive therapy.
