The Australian Dementia Network (ADNeT) Community Lecture brings together leading experts to share practical, evidence-based insights on brain health, dementia diagnosis, prevention, and treatment, with opportunities for discussion and audience questions.
We are pleased to welcome Senior Australian of the Year, Professor Henry Brodaty AO, alongside Professor Kaarin Anstey, Professor Brendan Lucey and Professor Christopher Rowe, who will present on topics including healthy ageing, dementia risk reduction, sleep, and maintaining cognitive wellbeing.
This lecture forms part of Day 3 of the Australian Dementia Research Forum — Australia’s premier annual event on dementia science, convened by ADNeT. The network brings together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and people with lived experience to advance dementia research, diagnosis, treatment, care, and prevention.
This free, in-person community lecture is presented by ADNeT in partnership with HammondCare and supported by Alzheimer’s Research Australia.

Professor Christopher Rowe, is the inaugural Director of the Australian Dementia Network . Professor Rowe is also the Director of Molecular Imaging Research at Austin Health, Melbourne, Professorial Fellow at University of Melbourne, and an NHMRC Practitioner Fellow
Scientia Professor Kaarin Jane Anstey is an ARC Laureate Fellow and Director of the UNSW Ageing Futures Institute. She is also a conjoint Senior Principal Research Scientist at Neuroscience Research Australia
