HOW TO: PAYMENT PROCESS AND REPORTING

INCLUSION CRITERIA:
1. Aged between 55 and 85 years. 
2. Presenting with cognitive decline symptoms – self report, clinician or other. 
3. MOCA or MMSE or RUDAS score between 20-27 plus a GDS (15 item geriatric depression scale) less than 8.  
4. Exclusion of secondary cause for their cognitive decline (normal bloods and CT brain scan + medication review).  
5.  Patient is able to give consent. 

EXCLUSION CRITERIA:
1. An established dementia diagnosis confirmed by a specialist. 
2. Patients who do not agree to be informed of their blood biomarker result. 
3. Renal impairment with eGFR <40 (known to falsely elevate pTau). 
4. Persons at risk of suicide based on expression of intent to self-harm if found to have AD, suicide attempt in the past 5 years or current significant depression.
