Biography
Ayeisha Milligan Armstrong is a final year PhD candidate enrolled at Curtin University in Western Australia. She is also a part-time Research Assistant at Edith Cowan University. Her research is focussed on investigating genetic risk factors in Alzheimer's disease. Her PhD is directed towards understanding the link between chronic stress/cortisol and Alzheimer's disease progression, with a focus on how genetic factors may impact this risk. Ayeisha has utilised both bioinformatic/longitudinal genetic analyses and molecular biology wet lab techniques throughout her PhD.
