ADNeT News October 2022

From the Director, Prof Chris Rowe

Welcome to the October 2022 edition of the ADNeT newsletter.

ADNeT is proud to have newly launched the ADNeT Neuropsychological Norming Tool (ANNT), which promises to speed up the rate at which a potential diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and other dementias can be formulated and communicated to the client. Given the current delays in receiving a proper diagnosis, it will be a welcome tool to clinicians and clients alike to receive a diagnosis in a timelier manner.

On the back of the Lecanemab results last month, I have recorded my first ever Tik Tok. Please do give it a watch!

We also welcome our new ‘Spotlight On’ series- a bi-monthly interview to introduce you to the team at ADNeT. This month, we interview Dr Stephanie Ward, who may be a familiar face to you from her time on an Emmy-award winning TV show.

There’s lots of exciting events and webinars to take part in, including a Call to Abstracts for the Australian Dementia Research Forum opening on November 10th.

Please head over to our news section for the latest news, updates and events. We hope you enjoy this month’s news. You can view the October newsletter in full here.
