It is anticipated to be an exciting year for dementia research in 2024. Recent breakthroughs in Alzheimer’s disease diagnostics and treatment offer a beacon of hope. New disease modifying therapy now approved in three countries, targets the underlying pathology of AD, potentially slowing disease progression and improving outcomes. Read on to learn more about ADNeT’s work in facilitating clinical trials in Australia.  

We are also looking forward to the upcoming Australian Dementia Research Forum (ADRF) 2024, being held from June 3 to 5. We have an exciting program again this year, with Continuing Education Sessions, Symposia, the Great Debate and much more. I look forward to seeing you there.
