ADRF2024 AWARD NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN

The Australian Dementia Research Forum (ADRF) allows the Australian Dementia Network (ADNeT) to recognise leaders in dementia research with prestigious awards. These awards celebrate established, early and mid-career researchers in this vital field.

For the third consecutive year, the Baillieu Myer AC Award will be granted to an Early Career Researcher for their Innovative Contribution to Dementia Research. This special recognition honours the late Mr Myer’s generosity and support through The Yulgilbar Foundation, contributing to the success of ADNeT. Established in 2024, the Irene Mona Martin Award, pays tribute to the late Irene Mona Martin and will be bestowed to a Mid-Career Researcher for their Innovative Contribution to Dementia Research Advancements. This special recognition acknowledges Ms Martin’s generosity and support of the Australian Dementia Research Forum. The ADNeT Lifetime Achievement Award in Dementia Research recognises an Australian investigator whose work has significantly advanced our understanding of dementia diagnosis, treatment, prevention and care. Nominations must be submitted by a third-party nominator. Nominate a candidate here.

Additionally, prizes will be awarded for the best posters under each theme, along with a People’s Choice Award nominated by Forum delegates.
